Environmental Policy

Bright-A-Bins is a socially responsible Australian company committed to ensuring the sustainability of our environment today and in the future. We employ a strict environmental policy that ensures we do our part to protect the earth. Our eco-friendly business practices seek to:

• Minimise water wastage by using between 1 1/2 - 5 litres of water during each bin clean, and retaining all water used during cleaning activities in our truck, to be treated and recycled through the sewerage system.
• Preserve our beautiful waterways by preventing contaminated bin-cleaning water from flowing down stormwater drains and into local creeks, rivers, dams and the ocean.
• Discourage the use of plastic bags by providing a regular bin cleaning service that makes the current requirement to place rubbish in bags unnecessary.
• Practice general environmental care by using only environmentally friendly detergents and pest repellents during bin cleaning and choosing environmentally friendly products wherever practicable and possible for our business.
