The Fleet

The Bright-A-Bins fleet is comprised of three vehicles:

Vito Automated Bin Cleaning Unit

The Vito Automated Bin Cleaning Unit is a fully contained washing and sanitising unit designed for cleaning mobile garbage bins (MGB). The unit is modular in design and intended to be fitted inside a Mercedes Benz Vito van.

The operator places the bin on a ground level platform and secures it with the push of a button. The bin is loaded into the van and the door sealed behind. An automated high-pressure nozzle washes both the internal and external surfaces of the bin. This is followed by a fan forced drying cycle. The bin is then returned to the operator at ground level.

The machine is a single bin design capable of washing 80 to 120 bins in a standard eight-hour shift.

Sprinter Automated Bin Cleaning Unit

The Sprinter Automated Bin Cleaning Unit is a fully contained washing and sanitising unit designed for cleaning mobile garbage bins (MGB). The unit has been fitted to the back of a Mercades Sprinter cab-chassis. The unit washes the inner and outter surfaces of two wheelie bins simultaneosly. All water used is filtered and recycled within the unit.

The machine is a dual bin design capable of washing 100 to 150 bins in a standard eight-hour shift.

Ute Manual Bin Cleaning Unit

This was our first bin washing unit. Bins are washed on the back of this ute with a hand held pressure washer. This unit is now only used during busy periods when the two automated units are working at full capacity.
